Enable Auto TradingAtive o AutoTrading In MT5, click the
Algo Tradingbutton on the top toolbar (it must be Green). Drag SentinelFX from the Navigator window onto your chart (EURUSD M1 recommended). Go to Inputs and load the provided.setfile with optimized parameters. No MT5, clique no botãoAlgo Tradingno menu superior (deve ficar Verde). - PAUSE / RESUME: Temporarily stops the EA from opening NEW cycles. Existing trades continue to be managed normally (TP monitoring, safety system, etc.).Pausa o robô para não abrir NOVOS ciclos. Ordens já abertas continuam sendo gerenciadas normalmente (monitoramento de TP, safety system, etc.).
- STOP AFTER CYCLE: Marks the EA to stop automatically after the current cycle closes with profit. This is the safest way to stop the EA — it waits for the natural cycle end instead of forcing closure of positions in drawdown. The button turns orange and shows "CANCEL STOP" to reverse. Status indicator shows "Stopping After Cycle" while waiting.Marca o EA para parar automaticamente após o ciclo atual fechar com lucro. The Safety SystemSistema de Segurança
The core of SentinelFX is its proprietary dynamic position management system. Rather than passively accumulating exposure during adverse trends, the algorithm continuously rebalances the active basket to maintain breakeven proximity. This active management — invisible to the user but constantly running in the background — is engineered to compress the recovery distance required to exit cycles profitably, even under sustained directional pressure. Max simultaneous positions (Default: 6)
The maximum number of active positions managed by the dynamic system. This parameter caps total account exposure at any moment — a critical risk control that bounds the worst-case scenario regardless of market conditions. O número máximo de posições ativas gerenciadas pelo sistema dinâmico. Este parâmetro limita a exposição total da conta em qualquer momento — um controle crítico de risco que delimita o pior cenário independentemente das condições de mercado.
Redistribute closed volume (Default: 50%)
Controls how aggressively the dynamic management system reallocates capital across the active basket. Higher values = more responsive recovery but greater concentration on the most recent positions. Default is calibrated for balanced behavior. Controla quão agressivamente o sistema de gerenciamento dinâmico realoca capital ao longo da cesta ativa. Valores maiores = recuperação mais responsiva mas maior concentração nas posições mais recentes. O default é calibrado para comportamento balanceado.
Max drawdown % (Default: 25%)
If enabled (Enable max drawdown protection = true), the EA will trigger an emergency shutdown if total equity drawdown reaches the configured percentage — closing all positions and stopping new cycles. In the 7-year validated backtest the maximum equity drawdown observed was 19.04%, comfortably within the 25% configured threshold. The threshold is provided as an optional secondary failsafe; primary risk control comes from the dynamic position management and the Volatility Filter.

When market volatility exceeds a configurable threshold, the algorithm blocks the opening of new grid levels — preventing position clustering during extreme market conditions. The filter automatically disengages when volatility normalizes. Enabled by default in the validated configuration, this is the primary first line of defense against adverse market regimes.
